Meditation brings awareness to your body and creates a shift in the state of mind. Kevin Davi, a physical therapist, a yoga instructor, and a level two Reiki practitioner, has been working meditation and mindfulness aspects into his treatments. After having broken wrists and doing long stints of physical and neurophysical therapy in high school, Kevin discovered that meditation helped him overcome the unwanted effects of concussions. Integrating it into his physical therapy, he believes meditation is more of a practice that trains the brain to live life in a better way so you can be with yourself. At the end of the day, your relation to yourself is utmost important, especially when healing your body.
