This week on A Pint with Peter we delve further into music and start looking at subcultures as we continue to chart the journey of popular music from the end of World War 2 to modern-day, so join us and you might learn a thing or two 

This week on A Pint With Peter, we begin to delve into the history of modern music and explore its progression. We discuss our own failed musical past and how our parents have influenced our musical taste. 

That's right this week we've finally arrived at the chat we've been trying to get to for the last few podcasts. We actually do wrap up the chat about Covid and the state of the planet and finally move on to Music. Peter gives us a brief insight into his musical history, such as picking Russell up as a kid and throwing him in the boot of the car and driving off playing 'smack my bitch up' , as an introduction this week before we move on deeper into the subject next week. We just keep getting distracted and going on digressions.

Welcome back for another week sat around the kitchen table for some 'intergenerational banter' as Peter likes to call it. This week we just can't get away from the Covid chat as much as we try to steer the conversation on to what we want to talk about which is music. We do start to get there in the end but we leave that in-depth discussion for another time. Rather we talk about Mamil's (Middle Aged Men In Lycra) people escaping the cities, before resting beginning on our chosen subject.

Once again after another brief hiatus due to local lockdowns, we are back. Russell starts off by asking a question regarding education. Which throws Peter slightly as he likes to ask the questions on this podcast. Once back into the correct rhythm of things again we ponder the questions the lockdowns have thrown up, such as have people become kinder and have people used their time in government-imposed isolation well or poorly?

Sadly though we find out our anti-hero of large proportion of our episodes, Barney, has sadly passed away and Peter looks back a his fondest memories of the trip with Barney.
