A Pocketful of Roses

In this episode, we talked about the things we will have loved to change about the past (too bad we can't). Yet, we are hopeful and super pumped about the future. As a 21st century Nigerian adult, we will love to change the narratives starting from our little corner. And most importantly, give good vibes ONLY!!! Cheers to an awesome listen.

We thought 'adulting' was just as easy, like a walk over...Shocker! It's not. But, it's also so much fun. There's just so much to learn from this episode, especially as a young adult. Listen to the end...and I'm sure you won't be able to wait for the concluding episode. Cheers!

In this podcast, I introduce an addition to the 5 love languages by Gary Chapman, which is 'Not Having To ASK' . This suggests sensitivity and taking initiative as a new way of showing you love someone, hence the 6th love language. To be able to discern a person's needs and meet them is the best expression of love.

Toun Banjo sits with us to share how 'adulting' has been so far and some lessons she has learnt as a Nigerian Adult. These lessons are central to any tribe, nationality, race or religion. Among other lessons shared, Toun says as an adult, you should learn to DO IT AFRAID.

It's okay to weak. Men also cry. There's no such thing as Super Man. No!

You are not alone too. Our parents probably didn't tell us how to do this, (well, maybe they did in their own way). But, here I am giving you helpful inside gist. What am I here for anyways?? Ps. You do not need to thank me. You're welcome anytime. Useful info: Just breathe!!! To put a face to the name: IG- @ariiberries. Twitter : @PremiereAri. Jesudunmo continues to lend her voice to as many that care to listen. Once you see signs that this person (your significant other) will have (or has) a problem with you in a brighter form, RUN.....Listen away fam! Cheers!!!

Confidence is arguably one of the most important values an individual should possess. Very admirable, yet sadly rare! Lack of confidence has caused both the young and the old to lose their identity and self worth. This episode is an interview with Jesudunmo Longe, a lady that distinguishes herself from others, young and old with her confidence level any time-t. Listen to the end and hear how she teaches you to ultimately shut out negativity and gain more confidence especially while still young.

A continuation of the previous episode on My Premise on Feminism. Please listen till the end.
