This week on A Podcast About Catholic Things, Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) discuss Pope Francis's latest letter to the faithful: Desiderio Desideravi… I desire to desire? The letter is Francis's thoughts on The Last Supper, and the way we participate in that (and in the crucifixion) - -the Mass. He is himself through much of the document, but surprisingly brilliant in other parts. It's almost as if he suffers schizophrenia. Also discuss, obviously, is the recent decision from the Supreme Court overturning Roe V Wade.

  • Is It Time For Catholics To Get Back Into Politics?
This week on A Podcast About Catholic Things, Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) discuss something Eric has admittedly been avoiding since the entire election scam of 2020. But, as good Catholics, he believes it is our duty to climb back into the subject of politics… even if we doubt our ability to have any effect on the outcome. Division of Church and State is not real. At the same time, the days of relying on NBC News for information are over. We have a particular duty to find the hidden information, and to be good red pilled Americans.

This week on A Podcast About Catholic Things, Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) discuss the modern cultural phenomenon of angry women… especially when that anger is pointed at men. It seems to be getting more and more prevalent, and we have yet to find a reason. The female anger against men seems to be going somewhere, and it's not pretty. Angry women might have more anger at their own nature than at man's nature.

  • Sexual Abuse Of Seminarians: Was It Predation?
This week on A Podcast About Catholic Things, Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) discuss a very much avoided subject--that of the seminarians claiming that they were preyed upon by priests. While APACT absolutely condemns all sexual deviancy, especially by priests and bishops, we also want to examine the real nature of what was / is happening in the seminaries. Were bishops and priests preying on otherwise innocent seminarians, or was / is there already an atmosphere that attracted a certain type of man to the seminaries--making it easier for bishops and priests to find and abuse 'victims.' And when to such targets of abuse stop being victims and become willing participants?

Why is the modern American so wimpy? Is it possible to change this? Might the American bishops be the key to bringing masculinity back to the American culture? It's sure disappointing to see our bishops cower like scared kittens.
