What's up Dream Warriors! We're wrapping up our month long theme of Bong Joon Ho movies with his highest rated movie to date, Parasite from 2009! This movie was the first foreign film to ever win Best Picture at the Oscars and it is definitely deserving of the accolade! We both agree that this is a damn near perfect movie and our favourite of the 5 BJH movies we've done this month.

What's up Dream Warriors! We're 4 weeks into June and that means it's our 4th instalment of our Bong Joon Ho movies! This week we're discussing his true events and highest rated movie prior to Parasite, Memories of Murder. This movie is based off South Korea's first confirmed serial killings which spanned from 1986 to 1994 and consisted of the rape and murders of up to 14 women. At the time of the production of this film these murders went unsolved, however the killer did finally confess while he was serving a different life sentence for the murder of his sister in law.

What's up Dream Warriors! This week we're joining the last of humanity onboard Snowpiercer as it travels around the world trying to survive. In typical Bong Joon Ho fashion, this movie tackles a big issue in the world with social standings and hierarchy. This movie is filled with balls to the wall action, touching moments and the usual BJH comedy sprinkled in. If you haven't watched this movie we both highly recommend you stop what you're doing and watch it!

What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with week 2 of our Bong "June" Ho theme and this week it's all about a mother's love and what she'll do to prove her son's innocence in Mother. And no...it's not THAT movie. Much like almost every Bong Joon Ho movie, there's lots of dramatic sequences mixed in with some ridiculous comedy. This was a first time watch for both of us and we both enjoyed the movie, although Brooke did enjoy it slightly more.

What's up Dream Warriors! It's a new month and a new theme! This month is dedicated to Bong Joon Ho, who's an amazing director and we're super stoked to be talking about his movies; from the lesser known to his most popular. Kicking off the month is The Host from 2006, which is a first time watch for both of us and holy shit did it ever have our heads spinning...in a good way! This movie was a rollercoaster of emotions and filled with drama, action, comedy and of course...horror.

Seriously though, why the hell haven't we done this movie yet?! It's one of our favourites and a fantastic movie that needs to be talked about! It took us 3.5 years and 175 episodes but we finally did it!

This movie is filled with action, shitty CGI, some surprisingly decent puppetry and a backwards flowing waterfall. We had a great time recording this one and both agree it's a movie worth rewatching every now and then.
