What's up Road Warriors! We're continuing with our Summer Blockbuster theme with Marc's pick of The Hunger Games from 2012! This was shockingly Brooke's first time watching the movie in full, so we discuss how it's still highly enjoyable in our adult years regardless of it being a first watch or nostalgic.

How would you play the games? Would you build a team of "careers" like Cato and take people out quickly? Or would you take the Katniss route and hide for a while and pick them off slowly and smartly?

What's up Road Warriors! We're back after a short break with Brooke being on vacation and in that we're bringing you our Summer Blockbuster theme from now until the end of September; every movie in the upcoming episodes either had a budget of more than $150 million or generated over $300 million in the box office.

Kicking off this theme, given it's starting in July, is Independence Day from 1996! We both grew up loving this movie and we found on this watch it gave us even more to appreciate in certain aspects.

What's up Road Warriors! We're coming at you with Marc's pick of 2024' Monkey Man! This was the directorial debut of Dev Patel - who also starred in it - and we can both agree that it was a very strong debut but it was definitely a better experience in the theatre. 

This movie was compared to John Wick when it was first released and although we can see the similarities, this one has so much more depth to it. If you've seen this one, let us know your thoughts on it!

Brooke is taking a trip for a couple of weeks so we'll be on a break until he comes back. But when we get back into it we'll be kicking off a 2 month "Blockbuster" theme, starting with Independence Day!

What's up Road Warriors! We're coming at you this week with Brooke's pick and our second animated movie on the podcast; Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. We both watched the show prior to the movie in order to get the full effect and what a ride it all was. It's a wild story with some awesome fights, incredible artwork and animation and a soundtrack that makes the fight sequences even more hyped. We definitely recommend checking this out if you haven't already.

We discuss the movie's wildly ambitious practical effects and set building, Kevin Costner potentially being a massive asshole and Dennis Hopper's fail of a prostetic eye.

What's up Road Warriors! We're coming at you with our first James Bond movie and Daniel Craig's first iteration of the iconic character; Casino Royale! This movie turned the tide of James Bond movies and gave us a very different version of him than what we'd come to know from previous movies. He drops the gadgets and raises the fists more than ever!

What's up Road Warriors! We're blasting in your ear holes with a 2003 "gem" and our first Jet Li movie, Cradle 2 the Grave! This movie came out when we were in our early teen years so naturally we loved it then, but does it hold up for us now that we're in our 30's?

What's up Road Warriors! This week we're bringing you nonstop action and bottles of...well IYKYK, with Brooke's pick of Shoot'em Up from 2007! We forgot how wild and over the top this movie is. Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti did such a great job and played off each other really well. With that being said, wtf happened to Clive Owen's career?!

What's up Road Warriors! It's been a while since we've done a movie from our childhood so Marc had to pick one that we both had on repeat as kids, 3 Ninjas from 1992! This movie had some terrible acting and weird, unneccesary scenes but it makes up for those with great humour and some kick ass fights. Grab your nostaglia glasses and come sit down with us while we talk about Grandpa Mori and his ass kicking grandkids!

What's up Road Warriors! We decided to do something a little different this week and we're bringing you the entire base franchise of Jackass! All 4 of the main movies will be discussed in this episode to some extent; stunts we would/woud not do, our favourite cast members, some gnarly injuries and lots of other content!
