I had a chat with my friends from all over the world (Malawi, Kenya, USA, Ghana, Rwanda) around the topic of being ”Anchored.”
One of my mentors once encouraged me to be anchored in the Lord as a young leader. I was young and restless, always jumping on the next task, cool idea, thought, and even friendships. It was exhausting, emotionally draining, and in the end, I would burn out.
In the last few years, I have learned and experienced the fruit of being ”anchored” amid the different shifts happening around the world in all spheres of society. Even in our own lives, how can we remain focus and grounded in the word of God that never changes and is eternal? How can we abide in the promises of God and His word, which is the source of our hope for eternal life?
