In this episode Dionne Thomas of Love and Lashes and fellow lash angel turns the tables on me and asks the questions. Apologies if it all seems a little self-indulgent but I'm not at all used to being on the other side of the interview! It's not easy so well done to all of my interviewees thus far. I seem to be under the grip of verbal diarrhoea but if nothing else, play this late at night and you'll be off to sleep in no time!!

Lash artist Carly Stanley is my first interviewee who believes that she and her partner are Covid 19 survivors. Listen to her fascinating account of how the virus affected them and how it feels to be out the other side.
I get to 'fly' off to Texas this time to chat to lash mogul Maven! She was honest enough to say that she didn't commit to the interview for a while because there was no guarantee if she'd feel up to it; so great are the vicissitudes of this time in our lives as we try to struggle through all of the uncertainty. Thankfully, I catch Trina on a good day and rinse her of her lash survival techniques!
In this episode I catch up with Charlie West owner of Darling Beauty who describes herself as beyond obsessed with lashes and find out how she plans to get through the current situation. Charlie is a real believer in helping lash artists to be the best they can be.
In this episode Behind the Lashes speaks with lash artist, international judge and event organiser Genevieve Hickin or Harding as you might know her. She talks about her frustrations as a lash competition and event organiser as The Lash Social UK is thrown into uncertainty thanks to Covid 19.
In this episode I speak to Hanna Putjato. Founder and Director of London Lash Professional - Hanna is a trailblazer for the lash industry. We speak about how she got into lashes and how she turned her home based lash salon into a corporation on the global scale that it is today in just 4 years and all of this when she didn't speak a word of English at the start!
In this episode I take Behind the Lashes to the Far East. I catch up with Japan dwelling lash artist and salon owner, Eri Rennie. We are joined by Chieko Miyamoto, based in London, to help out with translation. I find out that Japan is still business as usual with no lockdown in place currently and explore the possible reasons why Coronavirus has been slower to take hold there. You can find out more about them both on IG @eri.londonlash.japan @chieko.miyamoto_londonlashpro
In this interview I nip down to Cornwall in the southwest of England to speak with fantabulous Fantasy Lash Artist, Cindy Nicholls. A few sound issues due to recording outside and her playful canine pals but aside from this you get to find out a little more about this very humble lady and she tells me things which she says she has never broadcast before so that's a true honour. Thank you Cindy.
In this episode I zoom off to Delhi, India to talk to Renuka Krishna and her daughter Gandharva. Renuka was the first to bring eyelash extensions to India! A fascinating discussion reflecting on cultural differences and how she was brave enough to strike out on her own in beauty and how she bucked cultural expectations to bring up her daughter as a single parent.
