Hey RadFamilia! Thanks for tuning in to this quick preview to season 2. To be quite honest, it has been a little hard to keep up with blog writing and thinking about season 2 of the podcast.

So it is with great pleasure and honor that I close out the first season of A Rad Momma Podcast. It has been such a fun experience to talk about my motherhood, my ideas, and sharing some really RadMommas along the way. As I am preparing to birth my 2nd child, I will be taking some time away from producing episodes, and will attempt to write more on the website. I will continue to post online to keep you all updated with the adjustment of having a 2nd baby, when season 2 will drop, and to continue highlighting RadMommas. With that said, you can also nominate yourself or your comadre to be honored and celebrated by the community. I will link the Google form in the show notes too.

Anyhow, let’s get this party started. Today I am wrapping up season 1 with interviewing my husband, the official RadDad, Vinny! Yay! I am so excited to have him on the show and share with you how we are adjusting to change and how we are choosing to take time to care for one another. Please, realize we are both learning how to be parents as we go, so some things may be easier said than done, while also maintaining a sense of reality as we share our successes and challenges.

This last week my daughter turned 2 years old! Like that happened really fast...so cliche but it is so true. We wanted to make this birthday special because this is her last birthday as an only child. What that looked like for us, was to keep celebrating Rosemary and loving on her. This will be a little reflection on how we celebrate, how it made us feel, and how she just loved every part of it!

In Episode 10 I will share a brief on pregnancy updates and our first week of returning to daycare. Although we had more thorns than rose this week, I share how my doctor's helped me feel more at ease with all these changes we are experiencing. 

Lastly, I finish with talking about some methods I used to help name these changes to my toddler. And I also share some Montessori methods I read about in The Montessori Toddler, by Simone Davies, that could have helped us out had the circumstances been different. Maybe they can help you!
