Vice President Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. Her decision was based on his successful governing record, personal background, and his ability to resonate with voters in key swing states.

Democrats are rallying around the new ticket, with Harris and Walz debuting together at a rally later today in Philadelphia.
