Introducing the ideas to be discussed in future episodes of the podcast, including the foundation of the rational socialist perspective, which involves recognizing feedback loops and promoting those that have positive impacts with life-affirming repercussions and discouraging those with negative impacts, and which to some extent is returning to the roots of socialism, or "going home."  Also, presenting a brief discussion of the political climate and the presidential election from the rational socialist perspective.
