Minding My (Black) Owned Business

In this episode of a refreshing conversation, we review the first episode of Killer Mike's Netflix series "Trigger Warnings", in which he spends three days using and consuming only products that come from the Black community. 

We are HERE for the mission but um...Killer Mike's goal leaves him car-less, hungry, and scrambling for a place to stay.  Why though? In 2019 why don't we have a stake in these commodity driven industries?! We'll explore these questions and more.

We'll also discuss some of the Black businesses that have created their own space in lesser sought after industries like Friggers Communications and True Laundry Detergent.

E and King continue their "Minding My Black (Owned) Business" with a discussion on the challenges, or not, that come with being in a relationship with an entrepreneur. 

The long hours can be challenging and the lack of financial security can be a deal breaker. But is dating or being married to an entrepreneur all bad? Are there bright moments in the relationship that make the long hours and limited finances worth it? What does it look like when both partners are entrepreneurs? How do you make time if both of y'all are grinding?!

All these questions and more will be touched on as E and King dive deep into the topic of "Loving Entrepreneurs." It can be a challenging life, but hey, entrepreneurs need love too.
