Jesus is greater than your greatest afflictions. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus used his great power to die for our sins on the cross, and to rise again on the 3rd day so we can enjoy eternal life in heaven with him. He used his great power to prove even our greatest affliction of sin and death, can’t overcome the power of his death and resurrection. If he was willing to use his great power to eternally save you on the cross, then surely he won’t abandon you in the afflictions of your life.
