Today in the guest chair,  we have 15-year-old Jayden Gibson. Jaedyn is a sickle-cell warrior, entrepreneur, philanthropist, baby-sitter, and honor roll student. 

Jaedyn's journey to being an entrepreneur started when she was on homebound.  She wanted to do something that took her pain away so she started to bake in her mom's kitchen. 

After she's gotten compliments from so many people, Jaedyn decided that she wanted to make more of what people were asking for. She marketed her business on Facebook and got raving fans. Jaedyn's signature desserts are known to be sold within 30 minutes. 

Her peach cobbler with a twist among many have customers coming back for more. 

During this weeks episode, Jaedyn also talks about how to make money as a teenage entrepreneur, She baby-sits, tutors, and even encourages her baby sister to do the same. 

Jaedyn is not only a successful teenager, but she's also an honor roll student who has a dream of becoming a doctor for sickle-cell patients.

Today’s episode is all about how to gain the confidence to start a business as a multifaceted entrepreneur. Alisha talks about how important it is to focus on your strengths. As a creative, sometimes the hardest things is learning how to focus as a multifaceted individual. She encourages listeners to focus on the things they are good at. As a creative, we are painter, photographers, and singers, and learning how to start a business can sometimes be a little overwhelming.

Actively push yourself. It’s hard to focus because sometimes, we are all over the place, but in order to build a business as a creative, we must push ourselves past our doubts, fears, and unbelieve. We must learn how to build our self esteem and know that anything is possibile.

Consistency brings confidence. If you want to learn how to open a business, how to start a podcast, or even how to start a business as a creative, you must practice, and be consistent with your craft. Practice on photography, practice your music, and even practice on singing, for that’s how you will get better. If you want to know how to monetize your gifts, and talents, you must practice on your craft, and practice daily.

Learn from the best. You must have a growth mindset. Alisha encourages listeners to not recreate the wheel, but to reinvent the wheel. Always remember that success leaves clues, and if you want to start a successful personal brand, you must learn from other influencers that are doing what you want to do, but learn how to put your own twist onto it.

Focus on your strengths, actively push yourself, consistency brings confidence, and learn from the best.
