Cs: Večerní ticho bylo přerušeno jemným praskáním sněhu, který padal na okna malého bytu na kraji Prahy.
En: The evening silence was interrupted by the gentle crackling of snow falling on the windows of a small apartment on the edge of Praha.

Cs: Vánoční světla jemně osvětlovala místnost, kde se Jirka snažil udržet rodinu pohromadě během tradiční vánoční večeře.
En: Christmas lights softly illuminated the room where Jirka was trying to keep the family together during the traditional Christmas dinner.

Cs: Byt voněl vanilkovými rohlíčky a smaženým kaprem, ale nervozita byla ve vzduchu cítit také.
