Cs: Večer už pomalu padal na opuštěnou Prahu.
En: Evening was slowly descending upon deserted Prahu.
Cs: Zatímco slunce malovalo rudé pruhy po nebi, Lukas stál vedle staré věže s hodinami.
En: As the sun painted red streaks across the sky, Lukas stood beside the old clock tower.
Cs: Hodiny byly zastavené – ručičky ukazovaly časy dávno zapomenuté.
En: The clocks were stopped—the hands pointed to long-forgotten times.
Cs: Zdi věže byly naprasklé a pod nimi rostly divoké květiny.
En: The tower's walls were cracked, and wild flowers grew beneath them.
Cs: Tady se dnes večer sešla skupina přeživších.
En: Here, tonight, a group of survivors gathered.
Cs: Lukas se staral o malou zahrádku vedle věže.
En: Lukas tended to the small garden next to the tower.

Cs: K nim se připojil Petr, cynický a vždy připravený pochybovat.
En: Petr joined them, cynical and always ready to doubt.
Cs: "Co oslava změní na skutečnosti, že tady sotva přežíváme?"
En: "What will a celebration change about the fact that we're barely surviving here?"
Cs: zeptal se Lukas skepticky.
En: he asked skeptically.
Cs: Už dlouho měl s Lukasem neshody.
En: He had long had disagreements with Lukas.
Cs: Nevěřil, že lze najít lepší místo.
En: He didn't believe a better place could be found.
Cs: Večer plynul a v temnotě se rozzářily svíčky.

Cs: Nakonec, inspirováni Ivany slovy a silou naděje, se společenství rozhodlo věřit Lukášovu návrhu.
