Ben Golliver works at The Washington Post as the National NBA Writer in 2018. An Oregon native, Golliver launched his professional basketball writing career with the self-published "Draft Kevin Durant" blog, which documented the 2007 NBA Draft and the Portland Trail Blazers. He has since covered the NBA for more than a decade for Blazersedge.com, CBSSports.com and Sports Illustrated. As a senior writer at Sports Illustrated, Golliver penned multiple magazine cover stories. In 2021, he wrote his first book, "Bubbleball," about his 93-day stay inside the NBA's Disney World bubble during the 2019. We talk about former Blazer's start Brandon Roy and the article Ben wrote on Roy in 2011, Brandon Roy Can Cook.
