Prince William had COVID-19 SEVEN months ago and we are just finding out? Crown Prince Frederik held a digital trade summit with The Netherlands, he was supposed to be in The Netherlands for a week, but this happened instead, and Queen Sonja met with Art Students. It was a quiet Monday for the European Royals.
For our first episode only covering Saturday and Sunday events we discuss: The Pride of Britain Awards and the UK's new lockdown. The Danish Crown Prince and Princess were at the awards ceremony gifted to them for their wedding, and Sweden was able to hold a National Service of Mourning for the victims of COVID-19.
All was quiet on Friday, but we got caught up on the events from Thursday 10/29/2020
Today, we don't talk about the events but we do talk about how the royals have responded to the latest terrorist attack in France.
The saga of Princess Delphine continues in Belgium, The Duchess of Cornwall is running the show in the United Kingdom this week and I'm cool with that. Queen Margrethe is co hosting a podcast about art, while Crown Prince Frederik is supporting a green economy in Denmark. King Felipe presided over a military event, while Queen Letizia was supporting people with disabilities, and finally a traditional meeting in Sweden.
It was a busy weekend for the European Royals, but a slow Monday. A birthday celebration, Leaf peeping for Camilla, A Christmas stamp in Denmark, Multiple messages to the UN. A surf competition for the Norwegian Royal Family and potential lockdown in Spain, plus history in the making in Sweden.
It was a light Friday for the Royals. Queen Mathilde is the latest royal woman to rock a pink pant suit and I'm here for it, We talk about the Sustainable Development Goals with Crown Prince Haakon. We continue with my frustration of details from the Spanish Royal Household, and there were some meetings in Sweden.
Something from everyone is my favorite kind of day. Mathilde is blowing my socks with her speeches lately. We talk about Queen Màximas speech from yesterday. King Felipe received 7 new ambassadors and day 3 of the Swedish Royal Family's tour is in the books.
whew this one is a doozy. We talk about the video apology from King Willem-Alexander, as well as all the other events, but mostly we talk about the video and the times we are living in right now.
