Rexhino ”Gino” Abazaj is an anti-fascist activist, currently imprisoned in France and fighting against an extradition request to Hungary. Putinist right-wing government of Hungary tries to imprison randomly any people who participated to anti-fascist demonstration in Budapest in February 2023, with a flimsy evicence.

We now republish his presentation, that has been offline for almost 8 years, to point out long-term commitment of Gino to unite struggles in Finland, Italy and all around the world.

Anti-eviction struggles in Milan

Gabriel Kuhn, general secretary of the syndicalist Swedish labor union SAC, told about the history and the current activities of the SAC, one of the world's oldest and biggest syndicalist organizations. The presentation was followed by a discussion about labor struggles in the Nordic countries with Finnish union activists and the audience.

Daniel Fernández, a tram driver and an activist of local organisation of JHL from 2019 to 2022, and member of the SAK assembly since 2024 joined the discussion. He was participating to Terminus to companization of the HKL – a campaign against the incorporation of HKL in 2021, and he has been involved in several DIY-projects in Madrid and Finland since year 1995.

24.9.2023 esiteltiin anarkistinen tulkinta Donna Harawayn teoksesta Staying with the Trouble. Harawayn mukaan voimme hahmottaa tulevaisuutta kuvittelemalla: fiktio ei ole pelkästään taidetta, se on myös tiedettä. Ajattelemalla voimme löytää uusia toimintatapoja, joita tarvitsemme tämän ekologisen ja sosiaalisen kriisin keskellä.

”Ajatella meidän täytyy, meidän on ajateltava. Yksinkertaisesti meidän on muutettava tarinaa, tarinan täytyy muuttua.” Esitelmä lähti purkamaan Harawayn haastavia käsitteitä ja tarjoamaan sekä alustuksen Harawayn maailmaan, että esittämään kysymyksiä, joiden äärelle voimme yhdessä pysähtyä. Mitä Haraway tarkoittaa puhuessaan antroposeenin ja kapitaloseenin aiheuttamista virheellisistä uhkakuvista? Mikä ihmeen cthulhuseeni? Miten ajatella ilman ihmiskeskeisyyttä ja samalla nähdä ihmisten välinen sorto ympärillämme? Mikä rooli teknologialla on todellisuudeksi muuttuvissa kuvitelmissamme?
