Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Just minutes after President Trump ended his rally on Wednesday by directing his followers to make their voices heard “peacefully and patriotically,” they broke through police barricades and created chaos in the Capitol itself. One woman was even shot to death by police. What these protestors did was not the way of God. The Scripture tells us that everything is to be done “decently and in order.” The Bible says the fruit of the Spirit is self-control. There was very little decency, order, and self-control on display Wednesday. There are credible accusations that members of Antifa infiltrated the crowd, and that may well be true. But Wednesday’s disaster brought the Trump era to a bitter and disappointing end. Let’s pray that stability and peace will soon be restored to our public life.
