Fi: Helsingin tuomiokirkko seisoi ylväänä Katajanokan kattojen yllä.
En: The Helsingin tuomiokirkko stood proudly above the roofs of Katajanokka.

Fi: Valkoinen julkisivu loisti lumen keskellä.
En: The white facade shone amidst the snow.

Fi: Ulkona oli kylmää, satoi pehmeää lunta.
En: It was cold outside, with soft snow falling.

Fi: Oli tammikuu, ja kolmen kuninkaan päivä.
En: It was January, and the day of the Three Kings.
