Cs: Zimní vítr pofukoval přes Karlův most, zatímco na obloucích kamenných saní se třpytil lehký poprašek sněhu.
En: The winter wind was blowing across the Karlův most (Charles Bridge), while a light dusting of snow glittered on the arches of the stone sledges.

Cs: Praha dýchala po oslavách Nového roku, ozvěna vzdálených ohňostrojů stále zůstávala ve vzduchu.
En: Praha (Prague) was breathing after New Year's celebrations, the echo of distant fireworks still lingering in the air.

Cs: Turisté, zachumlaní do šál a čepic, se tlačili na mostě, s aparáty v rukou, zachycujícími krásu okolí.
En: Tourists, bundled up in scarves and hats, crowded on the bridge with cameras in hand, capturing the beauty of the surroundings.

Cs: Vojtěch, mladý muž se zamyšlenýma očima a jemnou duší, kráčel sám po mostě.

En: He helped her stand and led her to the nearest bench.

Cs: "Zavřete oči na chvíli.
En: "Close your eyes for a moment.

Cs: Dýchejte klidně," řekl měkce.
En: Breathe calmly," he said softly.

Cs: „Je spousta lidí, možná jste přecenila svoje síly.“ Adéla seděla na lavičce a zhluboka dýchala, zatímco se dívala do jeho očí.
En: “There are a lot of people, maybe you overestimated your stamina.” Adéla sat on the bench, breathing deeply while looking into his eyes.

Cs: "Děkuju," utrousila, vděčný úsměv jí ozářil tvář.
En: "Thank you," she murmured, a grateful smile lighting up her face.

Cs: "Jsem Adéla.
En: "I'm Adéla.

Cs: Jsem tady, abych našla klid.
En: I'm here to find peace.

Cs: Zdá se, že jsem ho ale na chvíli ztratila."
En: It seems I lost it for a moment."

Cs: Vojtěch se usmál.
En: Vojtěch smiled.

Cs: "Jsem Vojtěch.
En: "I'm Vojtěch.

Cs: Někdy je klid těžké nalézt, zvlášť když jsme v obklopení vlastními obavami."
En: Sometimes peace is hard to find, especially when we're surrounded by our own worries."

Cs: Oba se zasmáli tomu zvláštnímu spojení, které mezi nimi vzniklo.
En: Both laughed at the strange connection formed between them.

Cs: Dlouho si povídali o svých snech a obavách.
En: They talked for a long time about their dreams and fears.

Cs: Vojtěch zjistil, že jeho strach z neúspěchu je méně důležitý než ochota někoho podpořit.
En: Vojtěch realized that his fear of failure was less important than the willingness to support someone.

Cs: Když se loučili, Vojtěch se cítil jinak.
En: As they said goodbye, Vojtěch felt different.

Cs: Věděl, že je schopen mnohem víc, než si kdy pomyslel.
En: He knew he was capable of much more than he had ever thought.

Cs: Adéla mu podala ruku a řekla: "Být s někým, kdo tě chápe, je vzácné.

Cs: A tak se Vojtěch vrátil na Karlův most s novým pocitem odvahy a radosti ze spojení, které v chladný zimní den našel.
