I love the Shade of Mind series

I love the Shade of Mind series. It begins with great quest, and then just keeps getting better. Madeline and Ciaran are great together, and Tadgh and Jo help round out the group.

For those who want a little bit of everything, start with the Random Psychic.

From Earth to Eudaiz

This is a riproaring, action-packed adventure in a MEGA multiverse with myriad interlocking stories and series. A complex background of characters and locations includes everything from humans to humanoid species, to zombies and werewolves and sorcerers. These first four books are the "A Shade of Mind" series which is your best introduction: "Random Psychic" starts with a kidnapping and introduction to our main protaganists, Madeline and Ciaran. By "Forever Mortal" we start getting a bit more background on Ciaran, his late wife Juliette and his new love, Madeline. If you are a fan of computer game-playing you will love the imaginative approach to holographic interactive encounters (think holodeck on steroids?) as the action races along. We pretty much remain on earth for "Elusive Beings" and "Imperfect Divine" transits between 'verses; as we begin to have a concept of how this "multiverse" operates.

Good series, will be reading on into the next one

I received these books for free in exchange for my review. I liked this series. It started off a little slow while the characters were being introduced, but it has plenty of action. Sometimes, however, the action seems a little forced. There could be a few more periods of character development/history in place of some of the action; this would allow us to see the players and not so much of the play.

The series recounts the adventures of Ciaran, Madeline, Tadgh, Jo, and in the last book Zach as they find about their true selves and where they belong. They will eventually leave our dimension and travel to another, and that sets us up for the next series

The writing improves through each book , and I am sure it will continue to do so in the next series. The players will be allowed to pass between this dimension and our dimension as they need to, so I am sure there will be plenty more adventures in both.
