When joined by Alyssa Gray of the Silver Scream podcast, we couldn't help but to think that it's "an excellent day for an exorcism" as we cover the 1973 religious horror tentpole film, The Exorcist, directed by William Friedkin and adapted for the screen by William Peter Blatty, based on his own novel.
Hot take: this is a good movie, and to support that thesis, we'll look at how the cosmic stakes of good versus evil are played across the small cast of characters. Double hot take: we need a Kinderman spinoff about him looking for boyfriend who loves movies.
This podcast is a proud part of the Glitterjaw Queer Podcast Collective.
