In order to save her own life, Dasia shot the man who was stalking her.


After two dates with a man, Dasia told him she didn’t want to see him again. He called her repeatedly from blocked numbers, threatened her on social media, and sent people to her house to talk to her. Dasia moved several times and got a restraining order, but the stalker continued to escalate. When the stalker broke into her house, she fought back.

Maggie, a beauty influencer, found herself in the clutches of a cyberstalker whose identity remained shrouded in mystery. Following the launch of her online beauty venture, Maggie was inundated with sexually explicit messages and manipulated images of her face inserted into lewd photographs. Despite the stalker's demands for nude photos in exchange for ceasing the harassment, Maggie steadfastly ignored him.
The situation took a darker turn when the stalker created a fake Instagram profile mirroring one of Maggie's friends. He infiltrated her live online beauty show, exposing himself to her unsuspecting followers. Faced with this escalating harassment, Maggie and her husband sought assistance from a Private Detective, transforming into amateur sleuths on a mission to unveil the identity of Maggie's tormentor.

Case Update: Stalking Beauty: An Influencer’s Terror

Lisa is currently being stalked by a woman who initially connected with her on social media.

This woman, acquainted with Lisa's ex-husband, has resorted to disclosing personal information about Lisa, her life, and her family on online platforms. Despite Lisa blocking her on Instagram due to offensive comments, the stalker persists by creating new profiles to continue the harassment. Seeking legal protection, Lisa secured a temporary protective order against the stalker. However, due to the stalker's absence during the hearing, the case was ultimately dismissed. Undeterred, Lisa is determined to share her ordeal to raise awareness about the havoc stalkers can wreak and to caution others about the potential dangers they pose.

Annie Bowles is advocating for the release of April Wilkens, who was given a life sentence for killing her stalker in an act of self-defense.

Annie is striving to bring attention to the issue of criminalized survivorship and is pushing for the passage of the Oklahoma Survivors Act. This legislation aims to help survivors of domestic violence by allowing evidence of abuse to be presented during trials to potentially reduce their sentences.
