My personal reflections on today’s daily readings

AA Roundup in Owen Sound in 2022 was a small conference of speakers that I had been invited to speak at to share my experience, strength and hope. It was the conference tape that got me invited to speak at the International Sobriety Under the Sun conference in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

As alcoholics we believe in miracles, we are miracles by the very nature of our recovery! Our AA history is full of miracles, here I talk of just a few of the brief connections that inspired our humble beginnings.

Coming to terms with the difference between tolerance vs acceptance. Lisa learns that true acceptance brings peace while tolerance is where we sit with the feelings of disappointment until we don’t!

After attending two very different meetings, thank you zoom, Lisa was left contemplating the beauty of Live and Let Live. The people I love and admire don’t always have the same opinions I do, but I don’t have to burn down relationships today because of that!

Just catching up with more of life’s events and interruptions.

A trip to the vet leads my wife and I to have two totally different outcomes...one in gratitude one in resentment. That’s cuz one of us worked her program and did a 10th step inventory before bed...ok I was bing watching Lucifer!
