Surrogacy!

It’s illegal to pay someone to carry your baby, but legal to compensate them. To help clarify the difference, Ottawa is proposing long-awaited regulations on when a surrogate can accept money. But not everyone is supportive of the proposed new changes. Fertility Law expert Sara Cohen calls it a step in the wrong direction. Sara is on twitter and you can also find out more through her website.

It takes a village to raise a baby, but for Calgary’s Nathan Chan it took a village to have a baby. He gets candid on his eight year, $250,000 journey to become a dad.  Nathan is the managing director of Proud Fertility. You can find out more by connecting with him on Instagram and through the Proud Fertility website. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
