En: The rays of the morning sun shine through the bare trees of Rīga forest, illuminating signs of the start of spring.
Lv: Gaisa smarža ir mitra no nesenā sniega kušanas, un jau var sajust jaunos pumpurus gatavojamies uzziedēt.
En: The air smells damp from the recent snowmelt, and you can already feel the new buds getting ready to bloom.
Lv: Šis ir Līgas lieldienu dzimšanas dienas rīts.
En: This is the morning of Līga's Easter birthday.
Lv: Gundars, plotot feinu pārsteigumu, jau vairākas dienas stāstīja draugiem, ka viņš sagatavo īpašu dāvanu - "sniega torti".
