James and Abigail come under fire from the police department for interfering in a crime scene. Their continuing investigation leads them to a young boy named Adam, whose imaginary friend holds a dark secret.

NOTE: Although "A Soft Cry" was initially intended to be a five part story (hence in the credits it is listed as such) we've made the decision to split it into six parts as part three was nearly an hour long. Sorry for the change! We hope you enjoy the episode!
