It's the holiday season, so we're looking at some holiday specials! Today we watched Rankin Bass' The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, based on a book by L. Frank Baum. And since there WAS a comic strip, Queer Visitors from the Land of Oz, based on a different L. Frank Baum book... what the heck, we'll count it. L. Frank Baum was never content to rely on pre-existing canon for his stories, so of course his take on Santa is extremely unique.
