A Special Presentation

Oh, hello Season TWO!

We are back, and this week, David and Jonathan are joined by the elegant Edward Kiniry Ostro to discuss young, budding homosexuality and Ed's relationship to the very specific 1990s NBC drama "Sisters," which chronicles the audacious lives of four very strangely cast sisters living their truths in Winnetka, Illinois.

Here's a BONUS for y'all! Based on "Designing Women" and the theme of "confrontation," Emily Schmidt tells her live story of her very mature, measured temper tantrum at our live storytelling show in Los Angeles in July, 2018.

We will be back with Season 2 in just a few short weeks, so in the meantime, enjoy a little summertime banter between David and Jonathan, and a hilarious tale from Emily!

In our Season One FINALE, the legendary Melanie Hamlett (BBC Radio, RISK, Washington Post) joins David and Jonathan for a hearty discussion on how Zack Morris and Saved By The Bell have perpetuated straight white male privilege, and we were mindlessly entertained the whole time!

The first woman to anchor the NBC Nightly News is someone worth exploring, and may even be someone you don't know. In her brief life, Jessica Savitch blazed trails as an anchorwoman on NBC and PBS, but only lived to 36. She inspired characters in films for decades to come, and left an impression on everyone she knew, worked with, and to everyone who trusted her with the news.

Since we aren't here to make friends, we could BARELY wait to get comic Todd Masterson on the podcast to do a post-mortem on the recently sunset, ambiguously MAGA/HGTV hit "Fixer Upper." Strap on yer boots, and come on down to Waco, Texas with us, where we will climb the silos together and discuss David Karesh.
