Everyone's got troubles this week on DS9, and everyone decides to talk to a computer to fix them. First up: Ben Sisko uses his personal log to try and sort through the ethics of a decision he made in "In The Pale Moonlight". After that, Odo learns to chill with the help of a holographic 1960s crooner for some reason in "His Way".

Throw your ethics out the window because they're going to be tried, tested, and you won't know what's what anymore by the end of this week! First up: Kira has to face some harsh truths about the part her mother played during the Cardassian occupation in "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night". After that: Julian is told he's a secret Dominion mole so well programmed even HE doesn't know it, but the investigation seems shady in "Inquisition".

Starfleet Intelligence just keeps dropping the ball on this week's DS9. First up: the morons decide to send Chief O'Brien, the most black-and-white morality in the Fleet, to do an undercover mission in "Honor Among Thieves". After that, what is supposed to be a simple message interception turns into full-blown agent exfiltration for Worf and Jadzia in "Change of Heart"!

Also this week: O'Brien the Rambo, Worf's many passes, and (the lack of) Queer representation in original "Trek".

There's some real tonal whiplash coming up this week on SSHB. First up, some liberties are taken to vaguely connect a frame story but we can forgive it, because the result is the famous "Far Beyond the Stars". Sisko finds himself not Sisko, but Benny Russell, aspiring sci-fi author struggling to be heard amidst the prejudices of the 1950s.

Then applied phlebotinum makes a runabout tiny just in time for a Dominion takeover of the "Defiant". Needless to say, shenanigans ensue in "One Little Ship".

It's all loss all the time this week on SSHB. First up: Dukat and Sisko are stranded on an alien world just in time for the good Captain to realize the not-so-good Gul has lost his marbles in "Waltz". After that, everyone's favorite loquacious barfly has kicked the bucket and left his entire estate, such as it is, to Quark – leading the bartender into a series of messes that turn out to be one very big mess in "Who Mourns for Morn?"

It's a couple of weird ones this week on DS9! First up, Starfleet decides it would be best to rub Bashir's life in the face of some genetically-enhanced folks who weren't lucky enough to slip under the radar in "Statistical Probabilities", and for their trouble they nearly get intel handed over to the Dominion! After that, Moogie's been kidnapped by Iggy Pop the Vorta (no, really) and Quark decides to band together with more of the Alpha Quadrant's favorite ultra-capitalists to get her back instead of calling the space cops in "The Magnificent Ferengi"!

This week's relationship status is "it's complicated!" First up, the Worf/Dax wedding is finally here in "You Are Cordially Invited", but will their vows be derailed by Klingon custom? After that: Kira comes face-to-face with her lost love's inter-dimensional counterpart in "Resurrection", but is he really after freedom or something more?

We're taking a break from DS9's Dominion War to focus on humanity's war against the Bug threat in 1997's "Starship Troopers"! Yes, it's the third entry in the Verhoeven sci-fi satire trilogy where everyone's favorite Mad Dutchman takes a genuinely fascist novel and turns its messages on its head to prove how stupid its ideals are! It's a harrowing tale of brutal violence, lost innocence, and co-ed showers!

DS9's deepest dive into blatant serialization yet comes to a close in the two-parter "Favor the Bold" and "Sacrifice of Angels"! The Federation is sick of being on the back foot, but their plans to take back DS9 and the wormhole are sped up when it is revealed that the Dominion has finally figured out how to take down the minefield! Can an insufficient fleet actually take on the Dominion? What can the little Resistance inside Terok Nor do, especially with Odo off in la-la-link-Land? And why the hell did the Chief and Bashir think quoting "Charge of the Light Brigade" was a good idea?!

First up: the Worfst dad in the galaxy has to face his rottenness while the most maniacal dad over Bajor is using his kid to try and seduce his greatest enemy in "Sons and Daughters"! After that, Sisko worries about his crew while Odo bangs his way to not caring in "Behind the Lines"!
