TNG is saving a lot for the end of both the episodes we're looking at this week! First up, NOTHING HAPPENS FOR AGES and then EVERYTHING HAPPENS AT ONCE in the dreary "Force of Nature". After that, a lot of interesting character moments lead up to a somewhat-rushed moral dilemma in "Inheritance".

What lurks in the mind of a telepath? In "Dark Page" we find out that powerful minds can bury secrets far deeper than most can imagine. After that, Picard and Crusher learn stuff about one another that Troi surely already knew in "Attached".

Season 7 of TNG leaves your hosts cold again this week, tho opinions are divided over what's worse. First up: something we might be seeing more of as Picard tussles with smugglers in "Gambit", parts 1 and 2. After that, more Data dreams may tie into a malfunctioning warp core in "Phantasms".

We're going way off our usual path for THIS 10 Forward, as we discuss the 1987 satirical classic "RoboCop"! When officer Alex Murphy is killed in the line of duty, the evil Omni Consumer Products turns him into their new weapon/PR stunt for the City of Detroit Police Department. What follows is over-the-top violence and SO MANY "Trek" actors.

Also this week: can Bobby fly? When do b*tches leave? And what the hell do Batman and Sailor Moon have to do with all this?!

Time to finish off Season 6 and start Season 7 (my God, how are we already to the final season of TNG?!) with "Descent". Data likes feeling, the Borg like individuality, and Lore likes manipulating all of them!

After that, Picard is on his own protecting the "Enterprise" in "Starship Mine".
