Its been awhile listeners. But guess what, the history is still here. The Dark Ages of Greece are over and we get into it with the Archaic Greece. The way they colonized, the polis, the beginnings of democracy and about half of what Archaic Greece is all about.
Lets explore the reasons with collapse of the Mycenaean civilization and more stuff on Greece!
Its at this point in time the Ancient Greece begins to make a turn towards the dark side…BUT! Before we talk about that, one pivotal moment in Ancient Greeces history that could be the beginning of the turn, The Trojan War.
The title should tell you all you need to know…but I guess I could say something here as well. Olympic athletes from the ancient times? Uh, yes please! And because this is a history podcast and we have mostly been going in order in each area, the next peoples after the Mycenaean Greeks are the Dorian and Ionian. So turn up your volume, tune out the world, and explore more of ancient Greece!

As we talk about what the Indus Valley people left for future generations, we get into details about the Vedic Period and the religious script that could have come from them.
