Oh My Gosh - I'm Speechless!!
This podcast is all about taking massive action on the things and areas where you want to make a difference.
This episode is going to leave you so inspired to continue on your path to make an impact and may even call to you to make a difference.
You will hear an amazing story of a human, just like you and I, who felt the calling to make a difference and in turn learned so much about herself and the women she set out to help.
The three things she feels she couldn't do this work without:
Grab your favorite beverage, sit back and let me introduce you to Cindy Rodriguez.
Cindy is the founder of Elimu Girls, a 501C3 established in 2013. Her background is in education as a former teacher and administrator. She holds an MA in Curriculum &Instruction and an MA in Education Leadership. Her passion for human rights, gender equality, and access to education led her to start a grassroots international organization called, Elimu Girls.
Elimu Girls empowers vulnerable rural Kenyan teens to become community leaders and entrepreneurs, ensuring financial freedom, self-worth, and equality. This work is done by offering scholarships for a 2-year sewing and boarding program for girls so they may disrupt issues of child brides and break the cycle of poverty. As an advocate, an activist, and a founder of a nonprofit, Cindy believes strongly that Elimu Girls provides HER a voice, choice, and a bank account.
