This week I’m describing my ideas around queues in Supercharge and share implementation details.

Queues are coming to Supercharge! It’ll support three drivers: sync, sqs, faktory in the beginning. I started writing tests for the “sync” and “AWS SQS” queue drivers. Sync queues will fire jobs immediately when pushing them onto a queue. SQS queues are actual background queues requiring a background worker. I’m super excited for first-class queuing support in Supercharge

A new Supercharge package is coming to town: Streams. The Supercharge streams package is a wrapper around Node.js streams providing a convenient interface to use async/await with streams. I’m talking about open source and what it means for me in the second half of the show.

The Supercharge collections package has two new method, searching the docs uses a default version to avoid duplicates and I talk about the recent Node.js releases
