A Sure Hope

Jesus has been a part of history and just general life for a long time. A lot of people have heard of Jesus and know about Him, but SO many people reject Him and don’t know Him. In today’s message, Pastor Dave will encourage you to respond to Jesus in praise and not be ashamed or afraid to share the good news of Jesus Christ!

The world we live in is truly a dark place…I’m sure you can relate to that in your own life. Thankfully there is hope! There is a light that shines through the darkness! In today’s message, Pastor Dave will show you that light…Jesus! He is the hope for your situations and circumstances! Jesus is waiting to be that light for you!

Jesus, your Commander-in-Chief – your King – has given you a mission. He has sent you to go out and make disciples of all nations. Today, Pastor Dave teaches that this is a command for both the pastor and the layman. Who are you ministering to in your life? Who are you helping to grow closer to the Lord?

You’ve heard the famous verse quoted by believers everywhere. “For God so loved the world that He gave His…” Wait – did you catch that? He loved the world. Today, Pastor Dave teaches that God loves you, the people who get on your nerves, and the forgotten ones. He loves you so much, He endured the cross for you.

Jesus came to this world for you. He could have sat still, but He thought your soul was worth dying for. Today, Pastor Dave teaches that Jesus came to “Tabernacle” with you – to have a relationship with you. He knows your struggles and is walking through them with you, so come to Him today for refuge.

Jesus has many descriptions throughout Scripture. Both the Old and New Testaments refer to Him with names such as Lamb of God, Son of Man, Living Water, Bread of Life, and so on. In today’s message, Pastor Dave will teach you about the power of these names, and how Jesus truly is The Word made flesh.

Last time I checked, none of us can control the weather. Sure, there are scientists out there who like to play with the weather patterns, but that’s just like a kid playing with play-dough. In today’s message, Pastor Dave shares with you how powerful God is Who created everything and IS in control of it all.

We don’t like to be corrected, but sometimes we need it. In today’s message, Pastor Dave teaches you that it takes a real friend to tell you when you’re wrong. Anybody can compliment your good traits, but only someone who loves you will call you out when you’re acting like a fool. Do you have friends like that?

When you’re in the midst of suffering, it can feel so hopeless. But, as Pastor Dave wraps up our study of Job today, he’ll remind us that God is a loving Father and His plan is perfect. Some experience restoration and blessing in this life, but everyone who loves God has the hope of eternity with Him.

We are made in the image of God. Through His Word and the Holy Spirit, we get a glimpse of what we should look like. But, as Pastor Dave will point out in today’s message, sin perverts that image in us. Only when we seek God and allow Him to reveal our sin can we see who we really are and who He wants to make us.
