How do we get close to our heavenly Father? Today, Pastor Dave reminds us that no one gets to the Father but through Jesus Christ. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. The Bible says that Jesus is “the visible image of the invisible God”. Jesus is our perfect example of God in human form – full of grace and truth.

Can we tell if someone is working in God’s will? Today, Pastor Dave encourages us to test the spirits. The true Holy Spirit will point to Jesus. If someone is doing the work of the Holy Spirit, God will be glorified in the name of Jesus Christ. We should be magnifying Jesus while using our gifts for His kingdom.

Can people see that you have the Holy Spirit? Is it obvious to others that Christ is in you? Today, Pastor Dave stresses how Jesus’ twelve disciples radically changed from ordinary men into men who led empowered lives for Christ after the Holy Spirit fell upon them. As Christians, we have His power to effect change in Jesus' name.

It should be obvious that we are children of God! We won’t fit into society’s mold. Our beliefs will likely be rejected, but we need to hold fast to God’s Truth!

Seek Him with ALL your heart and God will reveal himself to you.

Have you ever been so invested in something that you were willing to spend all your time, money, and energy on it? Maybe it was a relationship or career. Today, Pastor Dave teaches you that the Apostle Paul was so invested in Jesus, that he was willing to die for Him. Is there anything in your life that’s worth more than Jesus?

It’s easy to become complacent in your Christian faith. You feel like you’ve been a Christian long enough, you’ve served your church hard enough, and you’ve prayed and read the Bible enough times. In today’s message, Pastor Dave encourages you to continue stepping out in faith and allowing God to work through you.

You can’t support two rival teams. You have to choose one or the other. Apple vs Samsung. Coke vs Pepsi. The Yankees or Red Sox. Likewise, Pastor Dave teaches you that you can’t choose both God and things or people that go against God. Choose to say “Yes” to God, even if it means saying “No” to people close to you.

Wouldn’t it be great and so much easier if at the moment you became a Christian, you transformed into a perfect, sinless saint? As Pastor Dave teaches today, all good things take time. The Holy Spirit is continually working in you to transform you to become more like Jesus, and He won’t stop until you are perfected!
