As Christians in our world today, it’s easy to focus on pleasing the will of man instead of God. We are constantly bombarded with what’s important in the present and forget about God’s promise. Today, Pastor Dave explains that you need to fix your eyes on heaven. Forget about the world and be saved by God’s gift of grace.

In your faith journey, did you leave your old ways behind when you met Jesus? Did you run from the influences holding you back? Or did you keep one foot in and one out? The moment you become a Christian, you’re translated from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of Light. The Church has been given spiritual gifts by the Lord to function as a Body working in unity to further His Kingdom. Today, Pastor Dave will encourage you to seek the Lord and ask what spiritual gifts He’s given you. If you already know them, don’t neglect using them but fan the flame of your gifts.

As Pastor Dave continues his teaching series through the book of Acts, he’ll be challenging you to pursue unity and peace within the Church. God loves the Church so much, that He sent His only Son to die on her behalf. This is why He wants unity because He sacrificed too much to see disunity and hatred.
