I owned a lot of Pokémon cards when I was young. Some of them are worth hundreds of dollars, yet as a kid, I would throw them around the house! I didn’t know their worth! Today, Pastor Dave says that as Jesus returns, people will weep because they will recognize they missed out on the salvation that was in front of them.

Have you ever anticipated seeing a movie and had it deliver on your expectations? It’s the most rewarding feeling! Today, Pastor Dave says that Jesus is coming back soon. This is exciting news for believers! Jesus’s return means the Earth will be made whole again, and Christians will be reunited with their savior!

Have you ever smelled wet dog? If you haven’t, it’s not the most pleasant smell. The only way to get rid of it is to bathe the dog! What if I told you that there’s something that makes you dirty every day? It’s your sin! Today, Pastor Dave reminds us that God is constantly washing and cleansing you! He’s making you a new creation!

When a natural disaster hits, what’s the first thing people do? They find shelter! In today’s message, Pastor Dave says that though the storms around us are constant, there’s someone stronger than all. It’s God! Even amidst suffering, you can lean on Him for your strength because He’ll deliver you!

When things around us are crumbling, it can be hard to stay strong. We start doubting ourselves and thinking the worst. In today’s message, Pastor Dave says that although the church faces persecution regularly, you must remain strong. Remember to remind yourself that this world is temporary, but God is eternal!

Life can be overwhelming. Sometimes, all we need to do is pause and think through what’s going on. In today’s message, Pastor Dave says the book of Revelation is meant to help us think through our lives. Don’t be surprised if, while listening, you must pause and reflect on what was just said or read from Scripture!

Wouldn’t you like that to be said about you? That you were so in love with Jesus and so full of the Holy Spirit that God used you to make right some of the wrongs around you? Of course, we all want to be used by God to bring about good. Today, Pastor Dave encourages you to be a witness for Jesus in your everyday life.

It’s so true what Pastor Dave just said. No one has the promise of trials and tribulations as a bumper sticker on their car. Why is that? Because we only want to focus on the good and positive things. Pastor Dave reminds us today that struggles WILL come. But, God has promised to never leave you or forsake you WHEN, not if…WHEN you go through the struggles of life.

We’ve all seen it happen…a great opportunity to serve your community pops up, and the first step most folks take is to go to the church staff to do something about it. Pastor Dave raised a good point. Maybe the reason YOU are aware of the situation is so that YOU can be directly involved with the solution. Maybe the invitation is for YOU and not the church?

We can act a lot like Peter from time to time, can’t we??? Open mouth, insert foot :-). Today, Pastor Dave will remind us to listen carefully for the voice of the LORD. God will never lead us in the wrong direction. The important question to ask is, Am I listening to the voice of God, and am I willing to obey?
