When a fruit tree is alive, it’s because it’s staying connected to the source of life and the source of water.  Pastor Dave is speaking today about how our hearts need to be connected to Jesus, the ultimate source of life, growth, and fruit.  When we’re staying rooted in God and His Word, there will be much fruit!

Fruit trees.  They’re a beautiful and wonderful thing to enjoy.  Eating ripe fruit right off of the vine can be such a tasty experience, as the juicy fruit is ripe for the picking.  Today, Pastor Dave is talking about spiritual fruit.  Jesus is the vine, and we are to be the branches that can bear delightful fruit!

Too many situations are driven by fear these days.  People stock up on material things like toilet paper, gasoline, or have stockpiles of canned goods, “just in case.”  But today, Pastor Dave gives you insight into the best thing that can fight the fear that eats away at you.  And by receiving it, fear is erased.

The word “peace” can elicit so many ideas in people’s minds.  But today, Pastor Dave makes it clear what true peace is -- and isn’t.  If you’re looking for peace in the stability of your 401K, you won’t find it.  If you’re searching for peace by trying to find that perfect someone, you won’t find that either.  But there is a lasting peace!

Sometimes, in our walk with God, we can become too comfortable with our surroundings. We often find ourselves caught in a rhythm between what we enjoy and what doesn't challenge us. But today, Pastor Dave reminds us to allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, even if that means stepping outside of our comfort zones.

We might think, “I know He died for my sins, but can He really forgive me for this?” Today, Pastor Dave wants you to understand that Jesus didn’t sacrifice His life on the cross for just a few of your sins—He did it for every sin, both past and future.
