A Tainted Mind by Tamsen Schultz

This was a long book but very well scripted. It took me on a cascading journey of a Forsenic Scientist. Off she goes for a much needed vacation. But a murder comes up on her vacation and the town begged her to stay a few days to help. She could not turn it away and gets deeply involved with the town Sheriff. The roller coaster ride begins and next thing you know it and they are after a serial killer. A

Few minor lovemaking scenes to make it tasteful. I thought it was a good read and is very descriptive about the surroundings. You can imagine their countryside settings. More of a chick book though but you won't be disappointed!

A medical examiner and a cop--a great combo. She's trying to take a vacation but gets pulled into another case with the discovery of a body and he's a cop fighting his demons. I really liked this book. It flowed well and it wasn't too easy to figure out who the bad guy was. The characters were very honest with each other in their relationship and the secondary characters were well developed. I only wish I would have started this book earlier in the day because I really wanted to finish it. I stayed up way too late as it was and had to finish it on my lunch break the next day. I will definitely buy more books from this author.

Good start to series

A good read that hooks you in and forces you to follow through to the end to find out the killer's t identity.

Totally Awesome!!!

A Tainted Mind is an outstanding, fast-paced suspense novel with a wonderful romantic element. While the plot is solid and complex, it is the quality of characters that make the story great. I am glad that this is a series because even the secondary character grabbed my interest and absolutely loved the main characters who are both extremely strong intelligent characters who have faced almost more than they can handle. This one will having you begging for me just as it does me.

Great characters, complex and interesting story.

I loved A Tainted Mind and since reading it have spend the last week burning through all of Tamsen Schultz's books, including the Puppeteer that I had already read. (A great re-read!) Nice complexity and since I love both romance and thrillers/mysteries - this is a real treat to have them together. And unlike some thriller writers - where it's really just about the sex, you really care about the relationships that are building.
