Dante's gift

This book has something for every book lover. It has history. It has some drama. It has passion, and last but certainly not least it is about finding your one and only. Dante's Gift caught my attention from the beginning and is absolutely a must read!

Sweet Romance with an historical twist

I loved this sweet (and clean) romantic story! I found the main characters to be realistic and likeable- and not just one dimensional romance-novel stereotypes. I also loved how the author wove a modern day love story together with a romance from WWII. In both stories the couples overcame challenges and changed for the better to embrace love- what more could you really ask for?

A sweet romance

This story is about love, loss and love through a loss. It weaves the past into the present. Katie and Dominic are about to bring their relationship to the next level when Dominic tells Katie he is bringing his Nonna to the states to live with him. As Katie re-evaluates the relationship, she gets to know Nonna. Through Nonna's story of her meeting and marrying her husband, Katie begins to love Nonna too. Nonna's story is a love story that brings us through time back to the war. It tugs at our heart strings. Nonna weaves her story into Katie's heart and makes sure her grandson will have the girl that makes him happy. Nonna is the tie to the past and the one who helps Katie realize her true love as well.

I could not put this story down. Once it captures your heart, you need to finish it. Tom Jordan was amazing in this narration. He had the perfect voice to enhance everything about the story. Mr Jordan was able to make the characters easy to distinguish and follow. He narrated with such emotion that the story became more of a movie then a book. Each character came to life as Mr Jordan narrated and it felt as if I was sitting at the tabke listening to Nonna myself. This is a perfect Christmas story.

Inspiring story

This is a wonderful story about the love of a man and woman who must overcome an obstacle we all know will come at some point in our life. In this case, though, it happens much earlier than expected. The story makes one stop to wonder how we would react in a like situation. We all expect to have many years of marriage behind us before having to make the transition of caring for an aging parent. Kathleen loves Dominic and knows he is the man for her. However, is that love strong enough to still want him when she learns his grandmother must live with them? Dominic loves Kathleen, but feels loyalty to his grandmother.

unedited narration was extremely distracting

I find an audio books that this particular narrator is a part of tend to be extremely flawed. For example there is a ton of mispronunciation as well as repeating sentences until it sounds just right that means that one sentence or phrase may be repeated two to three times which is the case in this particular book. aside from the narration issues the story was not strong enough to warrant A Part 2. the characters were uninteresting, the plot for the story lagged in several places. I I am returning this flawed audio and I'm iffy on part 2 whenever it releases.

Hilarious short story

What did you love best about Wicked Ride?

It was so funny. Angie Hickman was great on the delivery of some of these lines.

I really enjoyed this one. I read it before but I dont really remember it. Listening to it was a whole new experience. It was really funny. I wound up getting some more books by this author because I really enjoyed this one. Angie Hickman is perfect for these stories. Great job.

Hilarious Contemporary Romance

This is an excellent contemporary romance. The main character is a hoot! Right off, she is crazy hilarious and has no common sense!

Narration is well done and brought the story to life.

Im familiar with this author and I really enjoy her writing. This is part of a series but you can read it as a stand alone. It is a short story but a lot of fun and so worth it!

Im looking forward to the next book in this fun series. You can not go wrong with this great duo. Excellent narration and fun writing!

Refreshing Listen

I love the combination of Elise Sax and Angie Hickman. Together they bring together such a fun and original listen. The imagery and expressions are spot on. This is a standalone listen and part of a series. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I find this book to be refreshing, humorous, and slightly steamy. I liked the attraction of the main characters in this story and will definitely listen to more books by both author and narrator.

Passion Builds in an Easy to Love Romance

I absolutely fell in love with Vanessa and Dan. Vanessa definitely proved that she is a woman to be respected from the very start of this book, and her personality just won me over. (I can only hope to have the grace she shows with that beginning incident!) Dan is a super hottie with a bit of a rep, but he's such a good guy. the interactions between the two characters are just so great. I really like to that for the most part no one's trying to get away with anything. The author does let each characters mystery get unveiled slowly and honestly. the pacing in this story is excellent, the characters are incredibly well-written and likeable. Passion is present, but not overpowering. (The secondary characters are great too) The narrator did an excellent job as well. Many times the narration can suffer when voicing men and women, but I found the entire performance to be quite strong. The writing and the voice work paired perfectly. this is a voluntary review of an audiobook gifted by the author and narrator. I will certainly be picking up the next audiobook in this series. This one is a total recommendation, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Toss up between Bruce and Nate. Although they were secondary characters the story would have been very empty without them.
