GREAT ADDITION TO THE SERIES!!!

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

I really like this authors writing...and these narrators are really good! This was a quick little christmas story that falls into the last chapters of the first book, during Mav and Embers first christmas..we get a few unanswered questions answered and to see the Hawks all come together for a nice christmas!!

LOVED IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!

A Perfect Companion Novella Makes Me Want More

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. What can I say, but the writing is excellent. The writer creates a world with characters that you feel invested in and love getting a further glimpse into their world. The narrators are perfect together with their duet narration team and bring the characters and their world to life. I loved this novella and how it bridged the gap between the last two chapters in Burning Ember, but I still want More. I can't wait for future releases and being able to escape into the Hawks' world once again I highly recommend this audiobook and series.

I can't get enough!!!

Any additional comments?

"PERFECT" truly sums up this sweet novella by the talented Darby Briar. I was thrilled to share in Mav and Ember's first Christmas together as well as all my favourite HOC characters coming together. Mav still melts my heart!

This is my third book by the sensational duo Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will, and I can't get enough!! Everytime I listen to their audio books, I feel as though I am watching a movie unfold! There is always SO much emotion in their narration! And I am in audio heaven with Leeroy's raspy voice as Mav!! Not only am I looking forward to Darby Briar's next book in this amazing series, but I am aso hoping that I get the pleasure to listen to Honey and Leeroy narrating it!

Perfect Companion To Book One!

I rarely buy stories under two hours but after falling in love with book one, Burning Ember, I couldn't resist getting A Perfect Christmas With Chaos! Even better, it's narrated by two very talented narrators, Honey and Leeroy. I hope to see more audios performed by this duo.

This was the perfect companion to book one, and expands on the Christmas scene which depicts happier emotions for Ember and Mav, and provides answers and closure to a few loose ends.

Length: 4 hrs and 57 mins

Language: English

Release date: 11-22-16

Publisher: Audible Studios

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 12 votes

Publisher's Summary:

What happens when an unrepentant Cleat Chaser meets the player of her dreams?

Nikki Graves has a history of going through the baseball roster with an eye for talent - the kind of talent that keeps things spicy between the sheets. But, once she meets Braden Bradford, catcher for the Ravens, her talent scout days are done. He's the one.

Braden has never met a woman like Nikki, and he can't get enough of her smart mouth and big heart. But life isn't always as direct and certain as the connection between Braden and Nikki. When family objections and career trajectories begin to crowd the plate, will Braden be able to keep his catch of a lifetime?

Content Note: This book is a hilarious, crude, and irreverent novel with long bats, dirty mouths, and big balls.

Members Reviews:

What a perfect sports/erotic humorous romance it is!

Cleat Catcher was entertaining, intriguing, captivating, spicy, humorous, and touching. Just excellent!!

The story was well-written, and the plot well-built. I absolutely loved Nikki and Braden's story. Their relationship was well-developed, with realistic motivations, fears, insecurities and great chemistry. The characters were richly developed, engaging, believable and lovable.

This is a very steamy and explicitly erotic story. However, we are treated to an erotic love story full of passion and romance, in which all the emotions are palpable. I felt connected with the characters throughout the story.

So, I really did loved and enjoyed this fantastic fun read. Celia's and Sloane's writing flows smoothly chapter after chapter. Their fabulous writing style does nothing but tell a great story and making it engaging for us, so it'll be hard to put the book down, which is exactly what happened to me.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a humorous Contemporary/Sports Erotic Romance.

Fantastic funny romance!

I really enjoyed the first book in the series, I loved Nikki. I was so excited to see Nikki would get her own story.

Braden and Nikki seemed to have such an established relationship on the first book, I was curious what kind of conflict there would be. Nikki is apparently from a well to do family and Braden is not her mother's ideal mate. Braden also has some stuff go down that he does not deal with well. He winds up having to pull his head out of his butt and fight for his girl.

The supporting characters were awesome and lively! I don't know if it's on the table but I hope Kasey gets her own story. I don't know if there will be more to this series but I sure hope they add to it!

Awesome read

There are a lot of baseball hot sex books out there and they are just that. But this awesome fabulous read by two great writers is a standout home run. Why? Because Sloane Howell was a baseball player and how he writes is from experience. This is a standout book with the bonus book Cleat Chaser 1 it is a steal. These two writers are an amazing team I hope this doesnt end with just two books. What I know is they are one hell of a team. 6 stars

Catch Youself an Epic Read

Brayden and Nikki know deep down they are meant to be, but life always has alternative plans. Baseball players play hard and when you play hard you win some and you lose some. Brayden's on the lower side of the yardstick this season and it weights heavily upon his shoulders.

Keep getting better!

Like all the other book in this series this one is another great one. Ever present the passion, the veneration to one another, the love the story full of danger, secrets but beyond all that the love is bigger than any problem! Just a dream series

What a wild ride

Truly enjoyed listening to this book. I could keep it down. I always plugged it into my car and rode around listening to an enchanting tale of love and suspense

An edge of your seat story!

Smith and Belle's story continues and takes a few shocking and unexpected developments. Belle is such a spirited character and I love that she constantly challenges Smith and gives him a run for his money. She is smart, sassy and determined. Covet Me had my pulse racing for all kinds of reasons! The passion, danger and intensity are all strong. Loved it!

Seriously way to much sex not enough of the story

This is a sting along to the tenth degree. Ms. Lee has a great story line going and I want to see what happens with Belle and Smith, Hammond the King shoot with everyone, but just when you think your going to get some meat to the story you have to break off for all this BDSM, Sex Crazed people. If you don't mind paying $6 a book to get to the story then do this, and if your reading this review your hooked like me a person that wants to see how this ends. If you are just reading the review because your interested then DON'T DO THIS. They string you along forever.

Great story line

Really enjoyed the whole series so far, this book is no exception. I do not enjoy the many sex parts so I just skip past them. Don't get me wrong as I do enjoy those parts as well but I just feel there are too many.

Members Reviews:

Suspense, romance and sensuality

I really enjoyed this second book in the Heavenly series; this one is the story of Allison Cornwall (Nicks waitress from book 1) and Police Chief Ian Brown. Its a thrilling tale of a crazy stalker, a girl in hiding and a man thats determined to protect her. I loved how the author and narrator were able to get you emotionally involved with the characters; you feel their fear, attraction and apprehension and I loved the chemistry created between Allie and Ian. The narrator once again did an excellent job, she did both male and female voices well and drew you into the story creating tension and sensuality in all the right spots. It is a captivating story that has you holding your breath and sitting on the edge of your seat. If you like suspense, romance and a bit of heat, you will definitely love this story.

Sweet Romance and Suspense

I love the whole premise for this story! I love the added suspense and mystery of a creepy stalker on the loose! I didn't read the first book, which wasn't a problem for me, I could follow the story just fine. The previous couple from the first book was in this book, so you may want to read their story first, but it isn't necessary. I really enjoyed the majority of this story, and the romance was sweet and hot! I also love that the author continued the story longer than usual, but I do think a lot of that was filler, and the ending needed more to it. The resolution for the characters felt rushed in the end, when there was plenty of time to build up the connections. I really liked both main characters, and I loved the small town setting. I was getting fairly ticked at Ian at times because he makes some dopey decisions, but he's still a sweetheart. Oh! and I don't see how Allison could allow some stalker ex dictate her life so much, and how her parents would allow it as well! I feel like there could've been a better way for her to deal with her ex, but I get that she's very scared of the situation, so I suppose I understand a bit. I listened to the audio version of this story, and the narrator did a great job! I enjoyed the listening experience, and would recommend it! So yeah! Entertaining, interesting, sweet, sexy, and fun mystery! Really enjoyed it!

Suspenseful small-town romance

Someone to Love by Patrice Wilton is the second book in the Heavenly Christmas series. It can be read as a standalone and is Ally and Ians story. Ally is running from her past and asks Ian (chief of police) for help after a scary incident at her isolated cabin.

narration didnt do it for me.

I really don't like books where a female reads the male roles I'd rather have to narrators.

But it might take a Christmas miracle to get Nora to give him a second chance.

Members Reviews:

Fun Christmas read!

Ive heard many great things about Katie Reus and her books. But I never read any of her books before. So when I was looking for a nice Christmas themed audiobook to listen to during the HoHoHo Read-A-Thon, and I saw Merry Christmas Baby I decided this was the perfect opportunity to start listening to my first Katie Reus book.

In Merry Christmas Baby we meet Nora. Nora is the owner of a small book/coffee shop and she lived with her younger sister in a small town called Holly. In Holly its Christmas all year-round. And ever since Nora got custody of her younger sister, this is the only town she felt like staying. Especially since she met sexy and sweet Jackson OConnor. Jackson is everything Nora wants in a guy. But after what she taught was a great first date, Jackson ignored her for weeks. Now Jackson is determined to make things up to Nora. But Nora isnt falling for his tricks again.

Merry Christmas Baby is a short, romantic and sexy Christmas story that pulled me in from the very first start. This was definitely a perfect Christmas read that had all the feels. A nice small town, a nice book/coffee shop, nice characters and a sweet and sexy romance. I really loved listening to this book.

The romance between Nora and Jackson was definitely very predictable but I still loved every minute of this story. I loved how sweet Jackson was and how much he wanted to fight for Nora. I enjoyed their interactions and I was totally rooting for them.

I also loved the little town of Holly. A town where it is Christmas every day? It sounds very sweet to me. And learning all those Christmas themed shop names.. LOL!! Hilarious.

The narrator Sophie Eastlake had a very nice voice to listen to. I liked the way she made Nora and Jackson come to life. Her voice fitted both the characters perfectly and above all she made it sound natural. I hate it when a narrator makes the romance sound unnatural and it makes you kind of uncomfortable to listen to it. Sophie Eastlake definitely didnt do that.. I loved listening to this book.

I loved listening to Merry Christmas Baby while driving to work. It was a fun and great way to pass the time and it really made me look forward to Christmas time. If youre looking for a short, fun, sexy and Christmas themed audiobook.. Merry Christmas Baby is for you.

Christmas Wishes

You'll love Holly, North Carolina where it's Christmas year round. This small town is filled with caring people and quirky neighbors. A happy ever after is guaranteed and lovers get a second chance. This anthology is a special holiday treat. I feel in love with the alpha heroes and their feisty independent ladies. Katie Reus had me sighing when Jackson O'Connor romanced Nora.

FIVE WELL-DESERVED STARS!!! Highly Recommend!!!

Two stubborn dreamers wounded in love must learn to trust and compromise to earn their Happily-Ever-After.

New York City sales and marketing expert Anais Cooper is burnt out on big city living. When she unexpectedly inherits a Spanish Colonial Mansion on ten acres of Anastasia Island, a suburb of St. Augustine, Florida, she applies for a minority business loan, quits her job and moves south. Anaisâs goal is to turn the ramshackle place into an upscale spa. Her overbearing, disconcertingly attractive neighbor, retired athlete Palmer Freeman, has other plans for the property. Itâs obvious to Anais that he doubts she has the business acumen or means to turn Casa Libre into an income-producing property. Determined to succeed, she turns all his offers to purchase her property down flat.

Palmer, a single parent raising two girls, has his own challenges. His youngest, Savannah, is rebellious and has an eating disorder. But she seems to connect with Anais, his uncooperative neighbor, whose property he wants for a business project of the heart. Palmer gets the idea to strike a deal. Heâll endorse the new spa if Anais agrees to help Savannah lose weight. What he doesnât anticipate is his strong attraction to a woman who really should be the enemy.

From smart and sassy Anais, to lonely and manipulative Savannah, to hard-working and passionate Palmer, Marciaâs characters captured my heart. Even Savannahâs cat, Molasses, was well-drawn. Both Anais and Palmer had been betrayed by their exes, but Palmer is more closed off emotionally. With their trust issues, neither was prepared to fall in love with a business rival. But neither could hold out long against an attraction that was more than skin deep.

While neither Anais nor Palmer is perfect, that is one reason I like them so much! They both have to grow as people in order to realize they are perfect for each other and to help Savannah overcome her emotional problems. Together they can overcome any obstacles.

I also loved the Anastasia Island setting, especially Casa Libre, with its unique history and aura of impoverished gentility.

When the Daltons find the herd outgrowing their numbers, they have no choice but to hire a ranch hand. Kade, sent to pick up the hand named Ryan, is happy to have a bachelor comrade to hang around. Being the only unmarried Dalton boy is hard to swallow. But once he sees Ryan is really a little redheaded spitfire with curves for miles, his instinct is to hightail it.

After Ryan's father died and her mother took off for a life of her own, Ryan grew up fast - and strong. Anything men could do, she did better, faster, and longer. So Kade telling her she can't only makes her more determined to prove herself. She's also mad enough to spit nails - when she's not burning for the hunky cowboy, that is.

While they thoroughly dislike each other, they must work together to keep the ranch running smoothly. Kade's desires for Ryan are sloping toward dangerous, and she's had enough of the big cowboy getting in her space and not showing what he's made of. But as a natural disaster strikes the ranch, they're forced together. Question is, who will come out on top?

Members Reviews:

Great read!

And Kade makes the 5th brother to find his special someone. When he went to pick up Ryan at the airport, he was expecting a man to be their newly hired ranch hand. Surprise! He is a she and comes power packed with a red headed temper and all. She tries to keep it down but her & Kade butt heads more than once. The sparks fly whether they are snipping at each other or loving on each other. Great read!

Best for last

The queen of the HOT COWBOYS!!! This morning I decided I needed a cowboy fix so I grabbed a cup of java and Cowboy Rush on my kindle and re-read this hot baby. OH My then I realized I had never posted a review about Kade. (Now I need to go see if i missed the other brothers as well).

Holy Hotness Kade takes the prize. This is the final book in the series and Em Petrova saved the best for last. HA HA she added some humor in here as well with giving Kade a mate named Ryan.

Grab this book and the other 4 and catch up on the Dalton Boys!!

Loved the book!

Kade went to the airport to pick up their new ranch hand. It would be good to have another single guy around. All his brothers had found their soul mates, gotten married and started having babies. And they were constantly razzing him about being the only one yet to find a wife. He didn't think his chances were very good considering the family ranch was out in the middle of nowhere. The closest town had one blinking light, a gas station convenience store, and not a whole lot else.

Ryan worked harder than any man on her family ranch, putting in long hours and loving every minute of it. She's devastated when her father dies and her mother decides to sell. While Ryan could stay and work for her uncle, she figures she'd be better off elsewhere. So she answers an ad in the paper for a each hand and heads to Texas.

Kade is astonished to discover the new hand is a woman. He comes close to refusing to take her home with him and when he does he gives her a hard time at every turn. Mainly because he's attracted to her and has a difficult time keeping his hands to himself. But Ryan proves herself capable time and time again and they soon begin to grow close.

Members Reviews:

What?

What disappointed you about Knight?

I bought Knight because it was in my list of recommendations. I tried listening to it while jogging but kept spacing out because it did not hold my interest. I tried to get into the story but kept getting bored.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Narration was okay.

You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No. I only listened for about an hour.
