What a perfect sports/erotic humorous romance it is!
Cleat Catcher was entertaining, intriguing, captivating, spicy, humorous, and touching. Just excellent!!
The story was well-written, and the plot well-built. I absolutely loved Nikki and Braden's story. Their relationship was well-developed, with realistic motivations, fears, insecurities and great chemistry. The characters were richly developed, engaging, believable and lovable.
This is a very steamy and explicitly erotic story. However, we are treated to an erotic love story full of passion and romance, in which all the emotions are palpable. I felt connected with the characters throughout the story.
So, I really did loved and enjoyed this fantastic fun read. Celia's and Sloane's writing flows smoothly chapter after chapter. Their fabulous writing style does nothing but tell a great story and making it engaging for us, so it'll be hard to put the book down, which is exactly what happened to me.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a humorous Contemporary/Sports Erotic Romance.
Fantastic funny romance!
I really enjoyed the first book in the series, I loved Nikki. I was so excited to see Nikki would get her own story.
Braden and Nikki seemed to have such an established relationship on the first book, I was curious what kind of conflict there would be. Nikki is apparently from a well to do family and Braden is not her mother's ideal mate. Braden also has some stuff go down that he does not deal with well. He winds up having to pull his head out of his butt and fight for his girl.
The supporting characters were awesome and lively! I don't know if it's on the table but I hope Kasey gets her own story. I don't know if there will be more to this series but I sure hope they add to it!
Awesome read
There are a lot of baseball hot sex books out there and they are just that. But this awesome fabulous read by two great writers is a standout home run. Why? Because Sloane Howell was a baseball player and how he writes is from experience. This is a standout book with the bonus book Cleat Chaser 1 it is a steal. These two writers are an amazing team I hope this doesnt end with just two books. What I know is they are one hell of a team. 6 stars
Catch Youself an Epic Read
Brayden and Nikki know deep down they are meant to be, but life always has alternative plans. Baseball players play hard and when you play hard you win some and you lose some. Brayden's on the lower side of the yardstick this season and it weights heavily upon his shoulders.
