Welcome back to another episode of Talks To-Go! Jill and George talk with our next special guest, Doni Belau. She founded the women-only tour company Girls’ Guide to the World in 2009 with a mission to empower women of all ages to explore the world. Her other life experiences have included television production and humanitarian work in South Africa. When not leading trips, she divides her time between France, New Orleans, and a sailboat named Relish – a testament to her adventurous spirit. Her dad, Ted Vrana was 100% Czech, lived his whole life in Nebraska and had a passion for  travel, gardening, politics, and meeting new people. He grew up during the Depression, joined the military, learned to fly and went on to teach enlistees to become pilots for the Marines during WWII. After the war, he became a lawyer and then a judge. Ted Vrana passed away at the age of 99.

This is another "Remembering Dad" episode where we sit down with our guest whose father has passed away to discuss and reminisce about their relationship together.
