Welcome to the final guest episode of Season One of A Therapeutic Hour. Today, I’m joined by Clinical Psychologist Dr Claire Plumbly, who works extensively with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, and burnout. Claire’s insights on burnout resonate powerfully in today’s world, where relentless demands push our nervous systems into survival mode, leaving us struggling to make clear decisions, rest, or even connect with others. She helps us understand why burnout is so hard to escape and how it differs from stress. Drawing from polyvagal theory, EMDR and her extensive experience, Claire also shares practical techniques to manage our nervous system before it manages us.
This is a Therapeutic Hour..
