Our good friend Jay Black was gracious enough to join us this week to discuss a conspiracy of “Titanic” proportions. The world was stunned to discover that on the morning of April 15th, 1912 the RMS Titanic, the world’s largest ocean liner, deemed “unsinkable” by White Star Lines Co., had sunk to the bottom of the Northern Atlantic after hitting an iceberg, resulting in the loss of 1500+ lives. But what if the ship we were told was the Titanic resting on the ocean floor for the last 100+ years, was actually another ocean liner, purposely sunk to cash in on an insurance policy? We take a closer look at the switching of the RMS Titanic and its sister ship, the RMS Olympic. Why was is done? What does J.P. Morgan have to do with all this? Why did the RMS Titanic have a hard time finding crew members during a coal strike? What is the SS Californian? All that and more will be answered!
