A touch of ice

Listen Later

A touch of

ice

Tragedies

seem to have a simple way out

The heroine

knows exactly what is about

To occur

She saw the

killer out the window very clearly

Those soft

words he spoke darling I love you dearly

It’s a blur

What seemed

to be so wholesome and nice

Leaves a

shiver running up your spine, a touch of ice

Passionate

kisses dreams of throwing rice

Sharp icicles

form as she speaks her words , a touch of ice

Alibi’s

pulled one after another, like tissue from a box

Loneliness

cares little for sunrise, sunsets, or clocks

Leaves

blowing

Echo’s of

memories still to be written pervade the dreams

Silence ain’t

golden when you wait forever or so it seems

Not knowing

What happened

to don’t kiss me once make it twice?

Northerly

breeze comes whipping up her sleeves, a touch of ice

Angel lost

her wings somehow, now she’s a devil in tights

Freezing me

so, babe let me warm your heart, melt a touch of ice

There’s a

fire in the igloo, I know you want the same thing I do

And the

infernal resistance that’s created by the needless distance

Cools the

fire

So spark a

fire with me babe, ice cold big blue you’ll blow some smoke

And those

tragedies? Like I said the way out is so simple it’s really a joke

We just get

higher

Elevate to

the place where we can snuggle close and spend our nights

Hearts on

fire radiate through your body you don’t have a touch of ice

Melting as

we’re swimming in the sea of love, laughing taking in the sights

Happy in

knowing that the places we’re going are now blessed with a touch of …nice
