Single Of The Week: Liquid Gold by Jacob Alon. This is a beautiful song from an album In Limerance released in 2025. Jacob first came to my attention in a performance on the Graham Norton show in February 2026, and after searching I found out about the album, which had been awarded the Critic Choice e Award in the 2026 Brit Awards. So, I managed to get a copy and so here it is. Another track from it will be played next week, but it’s an album that really need to be listened right through. The sort of talent up there with Perfume Genius and Anohni.
