Good book

The narrator was not very good in my opinion.

The book was pretty good same story with the same ending though.

A British accent takes away from the storyline.

The narrator's British accent takes away from the story. When you have a narrator that does not know how to pronounce La Joya, it just takes away from the enjoyment of the storyline.

Good Story! Narrator Spoiled the Book

Overall a well-written and interesting story. Thanks to Kindle, I was able to finish this novel, which is set in Los Angeles with American characters, names, locations, etc. The narrators accent reminded me of all the British police procedurals Ive read. Whilst listening I tried to ignore the accent but kept getting distracted and yanked out of the story, especially when common place names were mispronounced. Suggest a different narrator.
